Solution

Diversity in the workplace can be maintained if both the high power distance workers are understood well by the boss.
For example:
The boss should not stereotype the high powered worker to be lazy, selfish etc
The boss should try to explain the worker as to what he expects of him or her
The boss shuld try to engage him or her with work
The boss should be polite to the worker or else the worker would determine that no one likes him or her in the workplace

Example

Diversity in the workplace can be maintained if both low power distance and high power distance people are well understood.
For example, while working in a organisation, people with low power distance culture will tend to focus on their work and will stress out to get rewards proving out to be the best at work and will be the bosses favourite.Whereas, people with high power distance will expect to be told what to do and will try to potray themselves as the new generation wants them to.Thus this will lead them to be scold by their boss.

High power distance culture

In high power distance culture:

People put value on conformity
Bosses initiate all communication in the workplace
Equality is less important than freedom
Tall organisation pyramids
Stress on coercive and referent power
Surbodinates expect to be told
Authoritative leadership and close supervision lead to satisfaction, performance and productivity

Low power distance culture

In low power diatance culture:

People put value on independence
People initiate sone communication in the workplace
Freedom is more important than equality
Flat organisation pyramids
People put stress on rewards, legitimate  and expert power
Subordinates expect to be consulted
Consultative leadership leads to satisfaction, performance and productivity
